This page references both dialogue / events from Nier Gestalt, and the novella And Then There Were None from Grimoire Nier. If you wish to avoid spoilers, proceed with caution!
Trivia
- prideful, impatient, honest but somewhat oblivious in interpersonal matters
- despite this, he loves the praise he gets for it so much that he's alright with acting as a fan
- voted the 2nd most popular character after Kainé
- he loves to whine!
- his hatred of nicknames is carried over from the original japanese (Shiro being a common dog name)
- not actually much of an intellectual, beyond the usual associations one could about talking books and his... Affectation
- his consciousness is that of a 19 year old who spent most of his life as a child soldier
- killed his first legion at 10
- most of his knowledge is restricted by personal experience (knowing the use of things, but not their workings) and filtered through memory loss
- he doesn't know the difference between sheep and goats, for instance
Thoughts
- given his background, i think he'd have some Strong Feelings about the role brother Nier in particular fills in his village. he regards himself smugly, but he does make Nier less reliant on some more fraught ways of earning money
- trivia aside, he feels like a dog person
- since Gestalt Kainé was rather rich and sheltered, and he was... well. i am holding out on the possibility that had they met their dynamic would've been a reversal of how it is in the game
Just for fun
My magnum opus:
Feed him, if you dare:
Return?
